I gave in.

bookstores make me cry because they have to overprice to stay afloat, which means paperbacks that are $10-15 for basically no explainable reason, which means if I walk in with a $25 gift card, trying to find two books I actually want to read is a herculean task. I walked around for an hour and eventually gave up. even those little one-shot novelty humor books are like $12.

maybe I’ll try the library next weekend, but our library is a bag of dicks, so who knows.

this book better not disappoint me.
