man I went back in my archive to see what I had to say about the 4th of july last year and I don’t know how it’s possible but my blog was way better last summer (in spite of having a long whiny post about my SUMMER STRUGGLES once a week like clockwork)

I guess my discretion has just gotten to the point where I hardly ever want to post anything unless it’s super necessary and it’s kinda lame but whatever forcing myself to post more is just weird

anyway I have nothing to say about the 4th of july because all you fuckheads are either posting those tacky glitter/guns/eagles/explosion graphics or yelling at each other for not being funny and I’m sad because we used to throw big 4th of july parties with lots of food and sparklers and citronella candles but now we don’t and I woke up and my parents went kayaking without me so I’m just gonna keep watching avatar I guess

also my philosophy teacher made us watch a noam chomsky documentary about the tyranny of america’s foreign policy yesterday so I’m not too amped up about america haha

I’m gonna go

make a big bowl of mashed potatoes

yeah

maybe I can put some food coloring in and they can be freedom potatoes
